Dr. Daniel Whittaker

Dr. Daniel Whittaker is a native of the Leelanau Peninsula in Northern Michigan. As a young man, he served an ecclesiastical mission for two years in Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish. He has attended several dental missions in South America and the US, providing dental care to underserved populations.

He graduated from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry in 2007 and established his first dental office in a small rural town in northwest Ohio. Dr. Whittaker is an instructor with Western Surgical and Sedation and teaches other dentists how to extract wisdom teeth. Dr. Whittaker is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Whittaker has been married to his wife Lisa since 2000 and they have two teenage children together. He enjoys traveling with his family, mountain biking, reading science fiction, and playing video games.
