Tonka was found in the rain in a cardboard box in Southern Ohio in 2021, and thankfully was taken by a nice woman to a rescue group in Columbus. He was adopted by his foster parents (Heather, office manager) after they took one look at his sweet face. Tonka first came to the office after his first surgery so he wouldn’t have to stay home alone; once everyone at the office met him, the team made sure that he got to come back anytime he wanted. Now Tonka helps the whole team have a great day and brings extra smiles to the faces of patients. He gets paid in milkbones and loves his job!
Tonka lives in Ostrander with Heather, office manager, and his two fur siblings. He loves greeting the team in the morning, seeing all of the patients, and taking long naps. He greets patients by putting his paws on the desk so patients can reach in and he can give puppy kisses. He is also a big fan of the office mailman and UPS drivers, as well as any other human willing to scratch him.
