MEET OUR TEAM
Heather has been involved in the dental field for over 13 years, both clinically and as an administrator. Because of this, she has a wide range of knowledge in both areas. Heather is always happy to answer any questions you might have about how your treatment will go, or how your insurance will pay. She takes great pride in going above and beyond our patients’ expectations and will do whatever is necessary to make your visit a pleasant one! Heather earned her fellowship with the American Association of Dental Office Managers in September of 2016 and is a current member of AADOM, insuring she will maintain continuing education certifications throughout her career. She is passionate about continuing to learn and grow in order to serve our patients better!
Heather grew up in Lima, Ohio and attended Ohio Northern University, majoring in music performance. After living in New England for 10 years, she returned to Columbus to be closer to family and friends. She still goes to Maine annually to visit friends and enjoy the beautiful Atlantic beaches. In fact, Heather loves to travel and is excited to start collecting stamps on her passport, starting with a trip to Costa Rica this fall! Heather also volunteers with her Pit Bull, Nakita, visiting hospice patients at a local care facility. When she is not working or visiting, she can be found outdoors; hiking, kayaking, and fishing are just a few of her favorite activities.
Kim’s voice is one of the first you will hear when calling our office. With over 30 years of customer service experience, she is a most pleasant introduction to our family! Kim found her way into dentistry about 3 years ago through her passion for helping others. As our new patient coordinator, she enjoys walking her patients through their visit-- from the initial phone call until they walk out the front door after a great dental experience. Kim always ensures that no question remains unanswered! She is willing and able to assist you with any request you may have, from Insurance, to billing, scheduling and explaining your treatment. She says she looks forward to coming to work each day knowing she’ll be working with a tremendous team and that she’ll be able to help her patients attain the healthy and beautiful smile they deserve!
Kim was born and raised in Michigan, but moved to the Buckeye state 22 years ago. Her pride and joy is her son, Grayson, who is currently serving overseas in the USMC. She has 2 cats, Ezra (the biggest cat in the world) and Frank. In her free time, Kim enjoys traveling to meet up with her friends all over the U.S. If she is home, she is usually just planning her next trip! She is also extremely artistic—she is the one responsible for all of the super cute Thank you and Birthday cards we send out. Kim is the best at remembering all of the personal stories and details of our patient’s lives, and makes every patient that walks in our door truly feel like a part of our family!
Jessica wears many hats at Linworth Family Dental. Not only is she a wonderful dental assistant, she is also our Clinical Manager. Jess started her career in the hospitality industry until a fateful conversation with a friend attending dental school changed her course toward a career in dentistry. She has now been with us for over 8 years!
Jess was born in Denver, CO but moved to the Midwest when she was just a baby. She graduated high school in Indiana, then moved to Columbus to go to The Ohio State University. While in school she stumbled upon a cat abandoned in an alley, and she and Chester have been inseparable ever since! Jess is very close with her large family and loves living within close proximity to most of them.
Jess is just as busy when she is not here as when she is! She loves spending time with her new, adorable niece Gwen. She’s an avid runner and loves her turbo fire workouts! She is also a fan of thriller/ suspense novels and is an avid movie collector. Jessica LOVES to travel and goes to as many different places as she can. Just this last New Year’s she celebrated in Venice and also explored Rome and London! If she is not working out or not jetting off to her next locale, you just might find Jess at a local concert or trying out a new Columbus restaurant. Next time you see Jess, be sure to ask about Chester’s latest escapade, she will be sure to have you laughing before you leave!
Melissa is another of our wonderful hygienists. She has been a part of our family since 2005, when she graduated Cum Laude from Columbus State Community College. Her manner is always calm and soothing, making any appointment a comfortable one! She truly enjoys providing exceptional care, and is a wonderful educator to her patients about the importance of their oral health. Melissa says the best part of working at Linworth is the personal relationships that she has developed over 10 years of caring for her patients. It is no wonder she is one of our most requested hygienists!
Originally from Columbus, Melissa has stayed close to home and family. Her husband, Brian, and children Christian, Michael and Maria do a very good job at keeping her busy when she is not at work. She loves attending the kids’ activities and sporting events, as well as volunteering at school events. Melissa also volunteers at the family’s church. She also enjoys traveling, and has family living in Italy. Ocean City, NJ is also one of Melissa’s favorite getaways, and the family travels there annually to soak up the sun!
Tiffany has been a hygienist for 8 years now and has always been a part of our team. She graduated from Shawnee State University in 2007 and says she has enjoyed every minute of her career. Tiffany had a lot of dental work as a child and it made her interested in the dental field from an early age. She is most passionate about making sure her patients are happy with their smiles. She gets so excited helping a patient overcome issues like gum disease, and seeing her patients transform to a healthy place! When patients are anxious, Tiffany knows all the tricks to make them comfortable. She truly takes an individualized approach to each patient and will do whatever is necessary to make visits as easy as possible! And we often hear from our patients how light her touch is and how her cleanings are both gentle and thorough.
Tiffany is also passionate about her children and her family. She loves being a wife and mother, and she and her husband just welcomed their newest bundle of joy, Madison Lynn, in September! Fall is Tiffany’s favorite time of year, when the weather changes and life revolves around Buckeye football and tailgates! In her free time Tiffany will be having fun with the kids, perhaps visiting her family in Lancaster and exploring the outdoors. If you are in need of a good chuckle, just ask Tiffany for her toddlers’ latest escapades…she never fails to have a good story!
Meredith obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene from Rhodes State College in Lima, OH. She has been a dental hygienist for 8 years and has been a part of our family for the last 6 years. When asked what she loved about working here she said “the staff I get to work with here and the wonderful patients that I have been able to build personal relationships with”. Meredith says “growing up I always had a great experience at the dentist. My dentist and hygienist always made sure I was comfortable and that each visit was enjoyable for me. I knew at a young age that one day I would love to become a dental hygienist and be able to bring that same great experience to patients of my own.” She has certainly done that, and is a favorite with our patients!
Born and raised in Bellefontaine, OH she still lives there today with her husband. Meredith and her husband welcomed their first baby boy, Kase Adler, in October. In her free time she enjoys spending time on Indian Lake boating and wakeboarding with her friends and family. She enjoys almost any outdoor activity, including Fishing, bike riding, or snow skiing. Meredith is also active in her church and teaches Sunday school to the 4 and 5 year olds. Meredith strives to be an instrument in improving our patients’ overall and oral health. She is so friendly and non-judgmental, it’s easy to ask her anything! She is always willing to take as much time as you need to make sure that your questions are answered and you fully understand your oral health.
Ashley has been working part-time as a dental hygienist at Linworth Family Dental since 2012. She graduated in 2011 from Columbus State Community College. She was inducted into the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society and received the Hu Friedy “Golden Scaler” award.
Ashley loves building relationships with her patients and keeping up with their interests and life events. She also really enjoys being a part of maintaining our patients’ oral health and preventing future problems from occurring. Ashley is proud to be a part of the Linworth Family Dental team because “they are a wonderful group of people personally and professionally. Our team is down-to-earth, very caring and extremely good at what they do!”
Ashley has been married to her husband, Chris, since 2012. When not at work she stays busy raising their two little boys, Noah and Caleb. She relies on her strong relationship with Jesus to get her through the stresses of “mommy hood” and loves to spend time with the Lord. She and her family are members of New Life Church in Gahanna. She hopes to be able to meet you soon and provide outstanding oral care for you and your family!
Diana is another of our super-efficient hygiene coordinators. She came to our practice in 2010 after being laid off from a seasonal job. As it turned out, that was just the motivation Diana needed to go back to school to become a dental assistant and she’s never looked back. When asked why she likes working at Linworth Family Dental, Diana says “I really enjoy working here, to me it truly feels like we’re all family. It’s nice seeing patients who have been coming in for years and seeing them grow.” She also says “it’s always a good feeling when I can be a part of making a patient feel comfortable and make them feel happy about coming to the dentist!”
Diana was born in Kentucky and now lives in Grove City with her husband and 2 children. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and she travels to Kentucky frequently. Diana is also a huge country music fan and can be found at pretty much any country music concert she can find in Columbus. And next time you come in, try asking her to sing for you! She would never tell you but she is quite the Karaoke star! Let’s just hope we don’t lose her to American Idol!
Sarah is one of our hygiene assistants, so when you see her, she is usually moving! Sarah joined us last year after graduating from Assist To Succeed Dental Assisting School and has already proven to be an invaluable member of our family! She is always ready and waiting to make sure your appointment is on time and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are comfortable! Sarah says her favorite part of her job is all of the new people she meets and the fast paced, busy days that are never dull!
Sarah is originally from Cleveland Ohio and currently lives in Dublin with her husband. They share their home with their “foster fails”, English Bulldogs Cooper and Daisy. In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring her talents at cooking and drawing. She also enjoys her time at the gym as well as swimming. Sarah is always reading something new….for an interesting conversation, just ask what she is reading now!
Chelsie is another of our lovely hygiene assistants. She joined us last summer after talking to her aunt who is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Chelsie says she was looking for career options and really liked what her Aunt had to say about the dental field. Her favorite thing about her job is that no two days are ever the same!
Chelsie was born and raised in Columbus and still lives on the west side with her Fiancé Shawn and her daughter, Melina. In her free time she loves to be outdoors. She spends lots of time with family, enjoying summer cookouts, camping and movie nights with Melina. She is also an avid ATV rider and enjoys target practice as well. She is a lot of fun to talk to and will be sure to leave a smile on your face!
Rebecca has been with us for about a year now and we just love having her here! She is an invaluable assistant to the doctors and just a nice person to be around! Rebecca has been a dental assistant for over 21 years, so she really knows her way around the dental field! She attended a technical college for 4 years, earning her Dental Assisting Certification. She is an Ohio native and lives with her husband and 3 boys in Obetz.
Rebecca loves spending time with her family and they love hanging out by the water. You can be sure if they have a weekend free, Lake Erie is where they will be! They also enjoy Bowling, going to the movies and camping. As if she wasn’t busy enough with 3 boys and a full time job, Rebecca also works for Complete Mobile Dental on the weekends. They provide much needed dental care for Veterans and military personnel that do not have access to traditional dental offices. We could not be prouder to call Rebecca part of our team and we know that you will love spending time with her as much as we do! Her sense of humor is quirky and fun, and odds are you will be laughing before she is done with you!
Morgan is the newest addition to our family, and we couldn’t be happier to have her! Morgan comes to us from the Ohio Business College where she earned her Certification in Dental Assisting. She has been an assistant for 2 years now and is continuously adding new skills to her repertoire. We think her best skill is the way she builds relationships with her patients! Morgan’s smile truly lights up the room and our patients always say they feel cared for and appreciated when she is with them.
Morgan is another native Buckeye who still resides in Columbus with her baby son Aaron. He is the absolute light of her life and she has really been enjoying watching him grow and learn. She says that she has been exposing him to all of her favorite activities…. Hiking, gardening, and anything else that involves being outdoors! She recently got back from her first cruise and is looking forward to traveling more with Aaron when he is a little bigger. Morgan is always a fun girl to talk to, and if you really want to get her excited, just ask her about her favorite book series…. (hint: it rhymes with Gary Blotter
